We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support mining operations by collecting, verifying, and analysing production and operational data.

The ideal candidate is expected to collect, clean, and validate data from various sources (surveys, databases, spreadsheets, APIs).

The ideal candidate is expected to support the development and enhancement of database-driven applications, working closely with developers and business teams to design, implement, and optimize database structures and queries. 

The ideal candidate is expected to underpin our data-driven decision-making ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational efficiency across the organisation.

The ideal candidate is expected to elicit, analyze, and document requirements; ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions; and supporting the delivery of systems, integrations, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a Minimum of Diploma in Nutrition, Public Health, Statistics, or related health sciences.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data visualisation tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

The ideal candidate is expected to assist project teams in collecting data  against indicators, lead data collection based on data-collection tools and methodologies designed by the MEAL team.

The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines for reporting, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives2.

The ideal candidate is expected to have interest in energy policy, trade and industrialization policy, and economic development, with the ability to conduct rapid and rigorous research and present insights in compelling ways.

The ideal candidate is expected to have 8+ years of engineering leadership with 3+ years managing managers across data-heavy backend teams (or an equivalent track record of shipping production data systems at internet scale).

The ideal candidate is expected to have Ideally, +5 years of experience within the Data Engineering landscape.

The ideal candidate is expected to transform business data into actionable insights to support decision-making across imports, stock management, and sales forecasting.
